Het begon allemaal, omdat ik op zoek was naar een grasmachine met 4 poten. Achter mijn woning had ik nog een stuk wei, te groot om er een gazon van te maken. In die wei had ik aanvankelijk schapen lopen, maar dat bleek toch bewerkelijker dan gedacht. Na ook nog geiten en kippen te hebben geprobeerd werd er een shetland pony aangeschaft. De maat maakt me eigenlijk niet zo heel veel uit. Boven de 80 en het liefst onder de 100 cm is altijd goed.

This was an excellent platform for young people to directly experience the challenges of leadership, identifying roles and making decisions as part of a team, problem solving and also learning about the needs of and engaging with local charities. I particularly liked the charity focus and how teams not only engaged with those that need support in our community but the evident learnings that come from participating in such a Challenge.
